About The Position
Hudson Dermatology & Laser Surgery is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant with a positive attitude to join its dynamic, fast-changing clinical team. The practice, founded by Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, is based in Hudson Yards and is expanding in New York City while opening a second location in Miami. It focuses on a long-term, biology-driven approach to healthy, functional skin and provides cosmetic and medical dermatology services, including scar revision, injectables, and hair transplant procedures. The role supports the dermatologist and clinical department in patient care and office operations. Training and supporting team members are an important part of the position. The employer offers full training and describes the role as an opportunity for growth. The position is available as soon as possible for the right candidate, with an expectation of at least a year in the role.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of medical assistant clinical experience.
- At least 2 years of dermatology medical assistant experience.
- Phlebotomy ability.
- Positive attitude and energy.
- Team-player approach.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dermatologist with cosmetic and medical procedures and prepare or staff rooms.
- Scribe for the physician.
- Perform phlebotomy.
- Conduct patient intake.
- Set up for procedures.
- Process prescriptions.
- Perform administrative duties in the clinical department.
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and appearance.
- Provide high-quality customer service and care to patients.
- Perform some basic front-desk duties.
- Train and support team members.
