About The Position

Dermatology Consultants is a private dermatology practice founded in 1949, with 24 providers across four East Metro clinic locations. The Medical Assistant or LPN collaborates with the provider as part of the patient care team and performs hands-on patient care and related administrative duties. The role supports patient flow, provider visits and procedures, EMR documentation, laboratory work, and phlebotomy. This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week on weekdays, with no evenings or weekends.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing Program.
Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) or LPN credential, or ability to obtain certification within six months.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multitask and provide services to patients in a warm and professional manner.
EMR experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct assistance to providers during surgical and medical procedures, including excisions, biopsies, wart treatment, and cosmetic services.
Room patients and remain with them throughout the visit to scribe for the provider in the EMR system.
Perform clinical and administrative duties, including injections, phlebotomy, instrument cleaning, specimen handling, phone calls, scheduling, and patient education.
Assist with patient flow and provider visits.
Perform laboratory duties.
