About The Position

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Advanced Practical Provider with at least one year of experience to join its growing team. The provider will deliver dermatological care to patients of all ages, including general, surgical, and/or cosmetic care. Extensive cosmetic training is available for providers who are interested. The role includes examining and diagnosing patients, recommending treatment, monitoring treatment progress, and prescribing medication, while providing a professional and welcoming patient experience and complying with HIPAA and OSHA requirements.

The role is based in Santa Rosa, California. Compensation is listed at $80,000–$160,000+, with eligibility for signing and relocation bonuses. Schweiger describes its mission as creating the Ultimate Patient Experience and a great working environment for providers, support staff, and team members.

Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license.
• Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• 1–2 years of professional dermatology experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.

• Interest in cosmetic dermatology; extensive cosmetic training is offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide general, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatological care to patients of all ages.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that supports quality patient service and care.
• Examine and diagnose patients and inform them about dermatological treatments.
• Monitor and report on treatment progress.
• Prescribe medication.
• Apply working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
