About The Position

Turing is seeking an experienced, US-based Dermatologist to evaluate and improve large language model outputs in the medical domain. The role involves reviewing dermatology images through a structured online evaluation tool, assessing image quality and diagnostic usability, and identifying issues such as blur, lighting, exposure, colour, and framing. Where applicable, the dermatologist will identify likely skin conditions, assign confidence ratings, and document the rationale. The dermatologist will also review AI-generated medical text for accuracy, safety, harmfulness, and completeness, with a focus on dermatology. This includes evaluating diagnoses, treatment plans, and clinical summaries, and providing expert feedback to strengthen the medical integrity and safety of LLM outputs. The role collaborates with AI researchers and clinicians to align model performance with evidence-based dermatology standards. This is a fully remote freelance contractor assignment lasting 12 weeks. The commitment is at least four hours per day and 40 hours per week, including four hours of overlap with Pacific Time. The selection process includes shortlisting based on qualifications and assessment scores, followed by one interview round.
