The Deputy Elections Registrar position serves as the primary operations manager for the Conduct of Elections division for the County of Northampton. The individual in this position is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and day-to-day administration of all election and voter registration functions. This position ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of elections operations including redistricting preparation and implementation, voter registration processing, mail-in, absentee, and on demand ballot processing, election preparation, poll location and poll worker coordination, and election day logistics. The individual in this role supports the Elections Registrar in carrying out statutory responsibilities and assumes operational leadership of the division in the Election Registrar’s absence.
