The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) is the state agency responsible for ensuring clean air, land, and water. MassDEP seeks an applicant for the position of Deputy Division Director (MVII) of the Bureau of Air and Waste – Hazardous Materials Management Unit. This position is assigned to the Boston office located at 100 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA and will report to the Division Director of Hazardous and Solid Waste. The position is responsible for the overall leadership and implementation of a focused, coordinated hazardous materials management program responsible for establishing and implementing a multitude of statutory and regulatory mandates for hazardous waste management and to ensure the protection of public health and the environment. The Deputy Division Director is responsible for directly managing a staff of professionals in the Boston headquarters office.
