As a nonprofit, nonpartisan center, we catalyze cross-sector collaboration to advance people-first, digitally-enabled approaches through applied research, peer learning, and hands-on support—helping government deliver better outcomes for communities. The Beeck Center is seeking a Deputy Director, Network + Engagement to provide operational leadership and deep subject matter expertise to our growing network portfolio. In this role, you will lead the management and growth of the State Chief Data Officers (CDO) Network, providing strategic direction and comprehensive program oversight for one of the Digital Government Network’s flagship communities of practice. Additionally, the Deputy Director serves as a trusted connector across the broader Beeck Center ecosystem. You will foster deep collaboration and cross-functional synergy between the Digital Government Network and the Center’s research, training, and technical assistance functions to advance shared organizational goals. As a member of the network team, you will contribute directly to the strategic development and operational management of the Digital Government Network—supporting network expansion, program innovation, and the continuous identification of new opportunities to increase member value and deliver long-term impact. This position is ideal for a relationship-driven, operationally excellent professional who is passionate about cultivating communities of practice, building high-trust networks, and supporting public sector leaders utilizing data and technology to serve the public.
