About The Position

This role involves a variety of responsibilities related to asset management and technical support within a depot environment. Key duties include inventory management, shipping and receiving of devices, handling work orders and tickets, performing cycle counts, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, repairing and maintaining desktops, laptops, and other hardware, managing devices sent for third-party repair, and ordering necessary parts. The position also requires ensuring compliance with standards, maintaining documentation, and setting up and supporting PCs, Apple Macs, iPads, and Tablets. Additionally, the role includes managing cellular activations for mobility assets.

Requirements

SCCM OSD, Imaging, or similar desktop imaging technology.
Troubleshoot and diagnose device issues for laptops, desktops, and tablets.
Active Directory experience.
Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent communication, documentation, and written skills
A+ certification or equivalent work experience in Depot/Workstation support

Nice To Haves

Experience with XenMobile or other Mobile management software a plus.
Experience using Office 365 suite

Responsibilities

Asset Reporting to include Inventory, Shipping, Returns, Orders, Repairs, etc.
Work Order and ticket handling.
Maintain queues, communicate, fulfill.
Cycle counts of Depot inventory (devices and peripherals)
Pack and ship devices and kits (devices + peripherals) to end users; involves lifting and moving PCs, large monitors, etc.
Troubleshoot software or hardware issues.
Repair and maintain desktops, laptops, and other hardware in the environment, including reimaging and internal component replacements.
Manage and track devices sent to 3rd parties for repair.
Order parts as needed, both under warranty from Dell and other Vendors and out of warranty using ADT’s procurement system.
Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Maintain a comprehensive repository for documentation and update as needed.
PC and Apple Mac set up and support experience.
iPad and Tablet setup, OS updates, and wiping of the device.
Manage cellular activations of mobility assets (request activations, reassignments, cancelations).
