About The Position

The Depot Service Technician is responsible for the configuration, staging, maintenance, and repair of client hardware in a centralized depot office environment. This role ensures all equipment is properly prepared, tested, and documented prior to deployment, while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and turnaround time.  This is a non-exempt, on-site position 5 days per week in our White Plains, NY office.   Anatomy IT is a managed IT services and cybersecurity provider purpose-built for healthcare organizations. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, hardware repair, or depot services
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts
  • Experience with device imaging and deployment tools preferred
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and asset management tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of IT security and data protection practices
  • Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs)

Responsibilities

  • Configure, image, and stage desktops, laptops, and mobile devices for client deployments
  • Perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs (e.g., PCs, printers, peripherals)
  • Install and update operating systems, drivers, and standard software packages
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking, inventory records, and documentation
  • Receive, label, and organize incoming equipment and parts
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, and logistics for client equipment
  • Ensure devices meet company and client security and configuration standards
  • Wipe and decommission retired equipment in accordance with data security policies
  • Assist with warranty repairs and vendor coordination as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient depot workspace
