Responsibilities: As a Deployment & Site-Level Security Operations Specialist - Journeyman, you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Deployment & Site-Level Security Operations Specialist or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a BS/BA or 0 years’ experience with a MS/MA or 6 years’ experience with no degree.
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Must complete DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Possesses and applies expertise in securely deploying C2ISR systems and managing day-to-day site-level security operations to effectively protect sensitive technologies and information.
  • Independently performs the physical deployment, integration, and configuration of security systems (e.g., advanced access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection) ensuring adherence to design specifications and RMF requirements.
  • Actively monitors and operates diverse security systems (physical and logical), conducts thorough investigations of security incidents, and leads the immediate response to site-level security threats or breaches.
  • Supports the enforcement of site-specific RMFs (Risk Management Frameworks) and Security Classification Guidelines (SCGs), ensuring personnel comply with security protocols (e.g., badging, escort requirements).
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of robust Operations Security (OPSEC) programs at the site level, identifying and mitigating programmatic vulnerabilities and preventing inadvertent information disclosure.
  • Manages security access for personnel at the site, including issuing/revoking credentials and coordinating with site leadership to ensure appropriate access levels.
  • Assist in cataloging and identifying Critical Information (CI).
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in managing security operations, troubleshooting deployed security systems, and ensuring continuous operational security readiness for the entire site.
