About The Position

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. This position is with the Office of Retirement Services (ORS) area of DTMB. The business process technician in Process Support will coordinate and support the core functions of Process Support, including Workforce Support Services, Information Management Services, and Technology Support Services. Responsibilities include providing daily End-User Computing support to office staff, assisting with Document Management activities, testing of business applications and Document Management applications. This role helps ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of Application Support services.

Requirements

  • Completion of high school
  • One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 7-level in state service (for Departmental Technician 7)
  • One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 8-level in state service (for Departmental Technician 8)
  • One year of experience as a technician or paraprofessional equivalent to the entry level in state service (for Departmental Technician 8)
  • One year of experience as a supervisor of administrative support activities equivalent to the 9-level in state service (for Departmental Technician E9)
  • One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 9-level in state service (for Departmental Technician E9)
  • Two years of experience as a technician or paraprofessional, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate level in state service (for Departmental Technician E9)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
