The Michigan State Lottery was established to generate funds for Michigan's public-school system through the sale of Lottery tickets and online sales. Profits from lottery revenue supplement state education programs. This position is responsible for researching, analyzing, and evaluating software applications, programs, and business processes for the Charitable Gaming division, including CGWP and Content Manager. This includes conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to identify and resolve issues, designing, implementing, and evaluating new applications, programs, and business processes, and making recommendations for efficiency. The role serves as a liaison with IT and program developers regarding testing, implementing program modifications, and identifying issues. Additionally, this position will conduct charity game ticket audits to verify sales and prizes paid by licensees, analyze invoices from licensed suppliers against licensee financial statements, and manage data collection and analysis for CG annual reporting and licensee financial reporting. The role also involves disseminating technical information (gambling statute, charitable gaming statute) and non-technical information (CG Annual Report) to various stakeholders including legislators, regulatory agencies, law enforcement, attorneys, licensees, and prospective licensees.
