The Departmental Analyst 9-P11 position serves as an analyst supporting various functions of the Analytics, LTC Finance & Reimbursement Policy Section within the Actuarial Bureau. It identifies, accesses, and works with a wide range of program and financial data. The role assists with coordination of projects, conducts analysis, and performs research on eligibility, service utilization, and rate development for various provider types including Long-Term Care Providers. It also conducts analysis to support the development and monitoring of the Medicaid budget and performs analyses to estimate the programmatic and fiscal impact of policy changes or proposed policy changes.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount is required.
  • Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience.
  • Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
  • Relevant experience and/or education referred to in supplemental questions must be documented in resume, transcript and/or application to allow for accurate screening.
