About The Position

The Departmental Administrator (Finance) provides dedicated administrative support to the Director of Finance and Property Services. This role supports administrative efficiency across Finance by coordinating processes, advising on administrative procedures, and ensuring accurate and timely support for departmental operations. The position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to review and coordinate financial and procurement processes, including supporting program reviews and compliance with applicable legislation and policies (e.g., RESP-related processes).

Requirements

  • 2-year diploma in Office Administration or a related field.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Candidates must undergo and successfully pass a background check before an offer of employment may be made.
  • Proof of education is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting finance functions, including procurement processes and policy compliance, is an asset.
  • Experience within child welfare or social services, and/or CPIN or another large database is an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training may be considered as appropriate.
