About The Position

Assists assigned departments and reports to the assistant store manager or the immediate supervisor. This role involves supplying the store with merchandise by sorting, packaging, and occasionally pricing donations for assigned departments. The Department Assistant will also display merchandise in designated areas on the sales floor and perform responsibilities of various departments when a Pricer is absent. Ensuring the production department is clean and stocked, cleaning the personal work area daily, and keeping the sales floor shoppable by ragging, balancing, and rotating seasonal merchandise are key duties. The role also includes performing other duties and special assignments as directed, including assignments that may be outside the primary area of employment.

Responsibilities
