Dentist - On-Call
About The Position
International Community Health Services (ICHS) is a nationally recognized community health center providing medical, dental, and wellness care to individuals and families, including people who face significant barriers to care. ICHS emphasizes team-based care, respect, collaboration, and compassion. The on-call Dentist works across ICHS sites as needed, including International District, Holly Park, Bellevue, Shoreline, and Union Gospel Mission. The role promotes patients’ overall health through oral health management, including ongoing care for patients with oral pathoses, special needs, and oral manifestations of systemic disease.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited dental school with a DDS or DMD degree.
- Two years of experience as a Dentist and/or one year of GPR/AEGD residency.
- Active, unrestricted Washington State license.
- Must never have been disciplined by a professional or peer review organization, governmental agency, licensing body, or other organization for an action or omission related to quality of care.
- Active DEA license.
- Ability to travel between ICHS sites as needed.
- If using a personal vehicle to travel, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with patients from different backgrounds who have limited or no English proficiency.
- Fluency in Cantonese, Vietnamese, or another API language.
Responsibilities
- Provide oral health management to promote and enhance patients’ total health.
- Provide ongoing oral health care management for patients with oral pathoses, special needs, and oral manifestations of systemic disease.
- Work across ICHS sites as needed.
