About The Position

DOCS Health is hiring a part-time Dentist to provide general dentistry services, including problem-focused care with an emphasis on oral surgery. DOCS manages staffing, invoicing, and ordering dental supplies. The role has no weekend or evening hours, on-call service, or third-party billing. The Dentist has direct access to DOCS’ Chief Dental Officer for clinical consultation and support. DOCS provides malpractice reimbursement.

Requirements

Possess and maintain an active, unrestricted state dental license.
Graduate from an accredited school of dentistry with a DDS or DMD.
Be confident and proficient in surgical technique.
Ability to lift portable dental equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experienced clinician preferred.
Recent graduates who have completed a residency program are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat patients consistent with professional standards and within the defined scope of service.
Treat acutely symptomatic concerns.
Perform routine and surgical extractions.
Document each dental encounter using the SOAP format, update the patient's health history, and obtain patient consent before providing care.
Submit the patient treatment log to the Corporate Office after each dental visit.
Perform dental services within designated hours of operation.
