About The Position
Ohio Dental Outreach, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a general dentist to provide dental care to underserved children at schools in Dayton, Ohio, and surrounding areas. The program brings preventive and restorative dental services directly to schools using portable equipment or a self-contained mobile dental facility, with minimal disruption to the school routine. The role follows a school-day schedule of about six hours, with workdays ending when the school day ends and no evenings or weekends. The position offers flexible scheduling and is available full-time or part-time. It may suit dentists seeking supplemental income, working parents, recent graduates, or those approaching retirement. Compensation is $600–$800 per day, and a health, dental, and vision benefit package is offered.
Requirements
- DMD or DDS degree.
- Ability to work well with both children and adults.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel daily to and from school sites.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
