Sun River Health is seeking a part-time Dentist for its Goshen, New York location. Requirements

D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school.
Current New York State dental license.
CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Lead the site dental team, including oversight of dental support staff and clinical operations.
Monitor weekly ordering and manage inventory.
Report equipment repair needs and support site-level dental operations.
Attend site staff and leadership meetings and departmental meetings.
Coordinate operational matters with the Health Center Director, Dental Director of Operations, and Chief Dental Officer.
Perform root canal therapy on anterior teeth and other teeth within scope.
Conduct full-mouth periodontal examinations and develop treatment plans.
Take impressions and create models for dentures and crowns.
Consult with other healthcare professionals to plan appropriate dental treatments.
Extract infected or non-restorable teeth.
Provide preventive counseling, anticipatory guidance, and oral hygiene education.
Locate and restore cavities following diagnosis and radiographic review.
Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and document findings using OpenDental and eCW medical record systems.
