About The Position

Growing multi-location dental practice is looking for part-time dentists. We offer flexible scheduling, which allows for a highly customizable work/life balance, no weekends or evenings. Just practice dentistry, leave the stress of practice management to us. Support staff, supplies, labs, and equipment are all provided.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a DMD/DDS dental degree from an accredited program
• Current and unrestricted NYS license in good standing
• Possess strong chairside manor, and great communication skills
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with dental clinic team
• Ability to work for a minimum of 1-4 weekdays per month

Responsibilities

• Performing general dentistry
• Provision of general dental services including but not limited to: Examinations, treatment planning, x-rays, oral prophylaxis, scaling, fabrication and repair of dentures, restorations, oral hygiene instruction, extractions within the limits of general practice
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques in the dental office
• Maintaining proper EMR documentation of treatments for all patients
• Supervision of attending dental team
• Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients to ensure understanding and consent
