About The Position
Dentists' Office of Hudson Valley is seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory and office, preparing tray setups, sterilizing instruments and handpieces, monitoring operatory supplies, and helping prepare for patient care. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday through Saturday, 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pay is $18–$22 per hour.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a detailed environment and follow established formats and protocols.
- Ability to interact effectively with other employees and the general public.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory and office.
- Prepare tray setups, including placing instruments such as mirrors, explorers, syringes, and gauze.
- Place disinfected instruments in sterilization and sterilize handpieces.
- Wipe air-water syringes clean.
- Monitor operatory supplies.
- Pour and trim models.
- Assist with seating patients and treatment setup.
- Develop X-rays as needed.
- Ensure cases are ready for pickup.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
