About The Position

Dentists' Office of Hudson Valley is seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory and office, preparing instrument trays, sterilizing instruments, monitoring operatory supplies, assisting with patient seating and treatment setup, and performing related duties. The position is full-time, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday from 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay is $18–$22 per hour.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a detail-oriented environment and follow established formats and protocols.
• Ability to interact effectively with other employees and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory and office.
• Prepare and arrange instrument trays, including placing mirrors, explorers, syringes, and gauze.
• Place disinfected instruments in sterilization and sterilize hand pieces; wipe air-water syringes clean.
• Monitor operatory supplies.
• Pour and trim models.
• Assist with seating patients and treatment setup.
• Develop X-rays as needed.
• Ensure cases are ready for pickup.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
