About The Position
The Sterilization Technician ensures dental instruments are sterilized and assists with other back-office tasks and front-office procedures. The role supports the practice team in providing high-quality, compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children. The position reports to the Operations Manager and is at-will; either the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice. Pay range: $16.00–$19.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in EHR systems.
- Ability to multitask and complete tasks correctly and on time.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a dental practice.
- Bilingual ability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain sterile environments in the back office and support the practice team.
- Accurately schedule appointments using the office’s standard scheduling structure.
- Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and a positive experience for patients and their families.
- Keep the practice clean and presentable, including cleaning restrooms and the patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Perform other duties that support the business and its mission of providing high-quality, compassionate services to underserved children.
