Dental Sterilization Tech
About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Dental Sterilization Technician to ensure the safe and efficient decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of dental instruments. The role follows strict infection control and safety protocols and helps maintain a safe environment for staff and patients while supporting high-quality dental care. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday. Starting wages are competitive and based on experience and qualifications. Full-time employees accrue up to 200 hours (five weeks) of PTO per year and receive employer retirement match contributions. The clinic also closes early on Fridays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control standards, and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to follow strict safety and infection control protocols.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in dental assisting or sterilization technology.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical sterilization environment.
