Dental Insurance Coordinator
About The Position
Memphis Dentures and Implants is looking for a full-time Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team! As one of the first faces patients see, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, positive experience, greeting guests, keeping the schedule running smoothly, and supporting our clinical team with strong front-office operations. We value teamwork and take pride in maintaining a collaborative, supportive workplace. We’re seeking someone with a strong work ethic, an upbeat, patient-focused attitude, and the ability to work well with both coworkers and guests. Open Dental is used in our office, so candidates must be willing to learn the system or have prior experience using it.
Nice To Haves
- Dental receptionist experience (preferred, but not required)
- Experience with answering phones and verifying insurance is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities
- Use dental terminology comfortably to communicate with patients, staff, and insurance providers
- Answering phones
- Confirm and schedule patient appointments
- Verify dental insurance coverage (PPO and discount plans)
- Submit insurance claims and pre-authorizations
- Follow up on denied claims and assist with accounts receivable
