About The Position

Preferred Dental of Cromwell is a family-focused dental practice known for personalized care, advanced technology, and a welcoming environment. Located in Cromwell, CT, along the Mattabesset River, our modern, multi-specialty practice has 9 operatories and a strong team of general dentists and specialists. We are hiring two Dental Hygienists who are passionate, patient-centered, and looking for a practice that values their skills and offers work-life balance. Requirements

Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program
Active Connecticut Dental Hygienist license and CPR certification
Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset

Nice To Haves

Local anesthesia certification preferred
Experience in a dental office setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome

Responsibilities

Deliver preventive and therapeutic hygiene services, including cleanings, scaling, root planing, and fluoride application
Take and interpret digital radiographs
Conduct oral health assessments and periodontal charting
Educate and motivate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices
Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to ensure seamless, comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and uphold OSHA/HIPAA compliance
