About The Position

The dental hygienist will join a dental practice in Springtown, Texas, providing preventive and therapeutic oral care to patients of all ages. This is a fee-for-service (FFS)/PPO opportunity working four days a week. Compensation is competitive, based on experience, and to be discussed. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current Texas dental hygiene license and any required state or regional certifications.
• Proficiency with dental equipment, radiography, and practice management software.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing under the supervision of a dentist.
• Take and update patient dental and medical histories, X-rays, and periodontal charting.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Support patients with anxiety or special needs with a calm, respectful approach.
