About The Position

The practice is seeking a dental hygienist to provide preventive and therapeutic oral care to patients of all ages at a dental practice in Benbrook, Texas. This is a fee-for-service/PPO opportunity with a four-day workweek. Compensation is competitive and includes a bonus; the amount is based on experience and will be discussed. The practice describes itself as supportive and well-equipped.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current Texas dental hygiene license and any required state or regional certifications.
• Proficiency with dental equipment, radiography, and practice management software.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing under a dentist’s supervision.
• Take and update patient dental and medical histories, X-rays, and periodontal charting.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Support patients with anxiety or special needs using a calm, respectful approach.
