About The Position

Cabana Family Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is hiring a full-time Dental Hygienist in Boonton, New Jersey. The practice combines a patient-focused private-practice environment with organizational support, including training, technology, benefits, and stability. The role emphasizes building lasting patient relationships, developing clinical skills, and making a meaningful impact in the community through preventive care and education. New graduates are welcome. The schedule is Monday 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Tuesday 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., Wednesday 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., and Thursday 7:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Compensation is $55–$60 per hour with a hygiene bonus plan and a sign-on bonus of up to $4,000. Smile Brands supports more than 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states. Benefits depend on employment status and hours worked. Requirements

Licensed Dental Hygienist or eligible to become licensed in the state of practice.
Current CPR certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality preventive dental hygiene care using evidence-based protocols.
Perform appropriate assessments, diagnostics, and preventive treatments within the scope of practice.
Educate patients about oral hygiene, prevention, and the connection between oral and overall health.
Build trusting relationships with patients and provide a welcoming, judgment-free experience.
Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to identify patient needs and personalize treatment.
Stay current with dental technologies, instruments, and best practices that enhance patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable safety and compliance standards.
