About The Position

On Call Dental Urgent Care, an American Dental Companies Partner, is seeking a full-time Dental Front Office Receptionist for their practice in Tempe, AZ. This role is crucial in managing the patient experience and daily clinical flow, acting as the first point of contact for patients who may be stressed or in pain. The practice emphasizes immediate, high-quality, and compassionate dental care, combining general/same-day dentistry with an urgent care setting. Requirements

1+ years of dental or medical front-desk experience preferred.
Experience with Denticon (or similar dental practice management software like Dentrix/Eaglesoft) is highly advantageous.
Basic understanding of dental insurance verification, PPO breakdowns, and co-pay collection.
Bilingual in English & Spanish is a strong plus.
Adaptable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to keep a calm, empathetic composure in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Warmly welcome patients, manage intake forms, minimize wait times, and collect co-pays/balances at checkout.
Answer incoming calls, return missed calls promptly, and strategically schedule/confirm appointments in Denticon to keep the 5 operatories running smoothly.
Perform proactive insurance coverage checks, verify benefits, and enter clean patient data into Denticon.
Reach out regarding unscheduled treatment plans and ensure post-appointment care follow-through.
Maintain HIPAA compliance, prepare daily patient charts, and participate actively in morning huddles to hit daily practice goals.
