Winter Dental is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Front Office and Treatment Coordinator for a full-time, on-site position. This role is vital for the smooth operation of our dental practice, focusing on exceptional patient care and education. The position involves managing administrative tasks, creating a welcoming atmosphere, scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and coordinating treatment plans. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental administration or a closely related field.
  • Strong understanding of dental office procedures and use of dental management software.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks with keen attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment coordination, and the insurance claims process.
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and professionalism, with respect for patient privacy.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and office demands.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and facilitate a smooth check-in process.
  • Efficiently manage appointment scheduling, adjustments, and cancellations using practice management software.
  • Accurately update and maintain patient dental records and documentation.
  • Coordinate and communicate treatment plans clearly to patients, including procedures, costs, and scheduling.
  • Handle billing processes and insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all operations, following HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and resolve conflicts.
  • Perform inventory checks and order office and dental supplies as needed.
  • Stay informed of the latest developments in dental practices, technologies, and administrative processes.
  • Assist in organizing office events and promotional activities for marketing and patient engagement.
