About The Position

Heresi Dental Care - Fall Hill is seeking a Dental Assistant to help deliver “Best in Class” care to patients. The Dental Assistant assists the dentist during a variety of dental procedures. The role is suitable for an experienced assistant or someone motivated to learn more about the dental industry. The ideal candidate demonstrates empathy, patience, quick thinking, and a desire to help others.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of Dental Assisting experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of general mouth anatomy and dental terminology.
• Understanding of crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and implants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure necessary equipment is ready for dentists.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs.
• Take and process patient X-rays.
• Perform laboratory tasks as instructed.
• Greet patients and schedule appointments.
• Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.
• Communicate oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients.
• Handle general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental practice.
