About The Position
The Dental Assistant provides direct and indirect chairside support to dentists and hygienists. The role includes chairside assisting, patient care and preparation, radiography, infection control and sterilization, and FQHC and administrative support.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited dental assistant program.
- Active X-Ray/Radiography Certification.
- BLS certification.
- Proficiency with dental software/EMR, specifically EClinical Works.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect chairside support to dentists and hygienists.
- Assist with patient care and preparation.
- Perform radiography.
- Support infection control and sterilization.
- Provide FQHC and administrative support.
