About The Position

TLC Dental Wellness is a biological dental office in Watkinsville that views oral health as part of overall health and emphasizes finding root causes and taking time with patients. The Dental Assistant will support Dr. Mathew, a prosthodontist with 26 years of experience, with fillings, crowns, implants, veneers, and full smile makeovers. The role offers exposure to biological dentistry techniques, including ozone therapy, SMART safe mercury filling removal, PRF healing, and biological gum disinfection. The assistant will help patients feel safe, including during sedation visits; take X-rays; prepare and turn over rooms; sterilize equipment; help keep the day running smoothly; and coach patients on simple homecare habits. The office has a small team of six and a calm, spa-like environment. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The office is closed Mondays, though occasional Monday work may be required. There are no evening or weekend shifts.

Requirements

At least 2 years of chairside experience.
Georgia radiology certification.
CPR certification.
Kind and steady demeanor, including on busy days.
Curiosity about how food, sleep, breathing, and stress show up in the mouth.
Willingness to learn and ask questions.

Nice To Haves

Expanded Duties certification.
Interest in growing professionally and learning biological dentistry techniques.
