About The Position

Thousand Oaks Dentistry, an affiliated office of Mercy Dental Group, is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to support patient-focused oral healthcare and five-star service. The practice provides assistants with time to deliver care they can be proud of and describes its team culture as collaborative and supportive. Mercy Dental Group’s mission is to help families experience compassionate, community-focused, and extraordinary oral healthcare and to support team members in building practices that positively affect lives and communities. The role includes chair-side assistance, preparing and cleaning treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, stocking rooms and supplies, contacting patients for follow-up, and taking x-rays and 3D images. The position pays $20–$26 per hour, based on experience. Clinical hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; there are no Friday or weekend shifts.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide chair-side assistance.
Set up treatment rooms in preparation for patients.
Take down and clean treatment rooms.
Sterilize instruments.
Stock and clean treatment rooms, sterilization areas, and the lab.
Make patient follow-up calls.
Take x-rays and 3D images.
