About The Position

Enable Dental provides mobile dental care to patients in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing homes, and to individuals unable to visit a traditional dental office. The Dental Assistant is part of a mobile care team, working with Dentists and Hygienists to provide high-quality, comfortable care at patient locations. The role involves travel and transporting, setting up, and maintaining equipment and supplies for mobile visits. The position is full-time, consisting of four 10-hour shifts with no weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum active state-level Dental Assistant certification.
Must be over 25 years old.
Must have a state driver's license and a clean driving record.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to make patients feel comfortable.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness and ability to lift and transport dental equipment and supplies.
Comfort driving a minivan for mobile visits.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience working in a dental setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for dental procedures and help them feel at ease.
Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging technology.
Assist with cleanings, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Maintain accurate dental records and comply with health and safety standards.
Transport, set up, and maintain dental equipment and supplies for mobile visits.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Drive a company-provided minivan, or a personal vehicle if needed, to patient locations.
