About The Position

Ideal Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support patients and the dental team in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. The role assists with dental procedures, prepares patients and treatment rooms, helps maintain smooth patient flow, and supports accurate diagnosis and treatment planning through imaging, scanning, impressions, charting, and documentation. The Dental Assistant also helps maintain infection-control standards and educate patients on oral hygiene. Requirements

Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
Current CPR certification.
At least 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and help create a positive patient experience.
Prepare and educate guests before the dentist’s examination.
Assist dentists with a wide range of procedures.
Take dental X-rays.
Conduct digital iTero scans and use the iTero scanner.
Take impressions and bite registrations.
Prepare and break down treatment rooms and operatories.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control standards.
Facilitate patient flow and transitions throughout visits.
Record patients’ medical histories.
Chart existing and recommended treatments and assist with patient documentation.
Educate patients about oral hygiene practices.
Work collaboratively with the practice team to provide quality guest care and support patient satisfaction.
Perform other duties as required to support the office.
