About The Position

The practice is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join its friendly and supportive team in Fleming Island. This is an opportunity to work in a well-established private practice that prioritizes teamwork, quality care, and a positive work environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with compensation up to $27.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Current Dental Assistant Certification.
• Current Florida X-Ray License.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and commitment to outstanding patient care.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of dental assisting experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Open Dental practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures.
• Take high-quality digital radiographs.
• Capture accurate iTero digital scans.
• Assist with treatment workflows.
• Educate patients before and after treatment.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Help ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit.
