An established private family practice in Belfast is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant who is an energetic team player. Requirements
- Passion for patient care.
- Availability to work practice hours as needed, Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials to support patient care.
- Welcome, comfort, seat, and drape patients.
- Pour, trim, and polish study casts and fabricate aesthetically pleasing temporary restorations.
- Provide information to patients and answer their questions and requests.
- Clean and polish removable appliances.
- Anticipate the doctor's needs with setups, suction, and passing instruments and materials.
- Thoroughly chart dental care services in patient records.
- Perform intraoral photography.
- Ensure OSHA compliance when sterilizing instruments, dental equipment, and treatment rooms.
- Contribute to the team with an engaging and positive disposition.
