About The Position

Enable Dental is hiring a part-time Dental Assistant in San Antonio to support its mobile dentistry services for seniors and underserved patients in assisted living and care facilities. The role involves assisting dentists and hygienists during general dentistry procedures, taking digital X-rays, supporting patient comfort and education, and transporting and preparing portable dental equipment and supplies. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday during daytime hours, with no weekends. The stated pay range is $24–$26 per hour.

Requirements

• Active state dental assistant certification (DA, CDA, EFDA, or EDDA).
• X-ray/radiology certification (RHS).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfort driving a company minivan; age 25 or older.
• Ability to safely lift and transport portable dental equipment weighing up to 40–50 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to geriatric and special-needs patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists chairside during general dentistry procedures.
• Take high-quality X-rays using digital imaging technology.
• Help ensure patient comfort and educate patients’ families about hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Transport and prepare portable dental equipment and supplies.
