About The Position

Platinum Dental is seeking a motivated, dependable part-time Dental Assistant to support its clinical team and help provide a comfortable, positive experience for patients. The role involves assisting with dental procedures, preparing treatment spaces and materials, taking X-rays, following infection-control and safety practices, maintaining records, and collaborating with the dental team. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 7:45 AM–5:00 PM. Platinum Dental describes its workplace as supportive and collaborative and offers opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Requirements

• Previous dental assisting experience.
• Current dental X-ray certification, as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
• Take dental X-rays in accordance with certification requirements.
• Follow sterilization, infection-control, and safety protocols.
• Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support efficient clinical workflows.
• Work with the dental team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
