Part-Time Dental Assistant
About The Position
Max Dental Group is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated part-time Dental Assistant. The role is scheduled every Monday, with approximately 2–3 additional half-day visits per month assisting the dentist at a local assisted living facility. The position combines clinical dental assisting, occasional appointment coordination, and off-site visits that involve transporting dental equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate is friendly, responsible, flexible, comfortable working with patients of all ages, and able to balance clinical work, scheduling responsibilities, and visits outside the office.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Comfort driving to a local assisted living facility.
- Ability to lift and carry dental equipment and supplies as needed.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Compassionate and comfortable working with elderly patients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Help ensure patient comfort and provide excellent patient care.
- Assist the doctor during dental visits at a local assisted living facility.
- Transport dental equipment and supplies to and from the assisted living facility.
- Assist with appointment coordination and scheduling as needed.
- Communicate with patients, caregivers, and facility staff when necessary.
