About The Position

Scottsdale Perfect Smiles is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant for its modern, 7-operatory practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. The practice provides family, restorative, cosmetic, and implant care and emphasizes clinical excellence, patient comfort, and collaborative teamwork. The Dental Assistant works directly with dentists and other providers in a fast-paced clinical setting to support patient flow, provide chairside comfort, and keep treatment rooms operating efficiently. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:45 AM to 2:00 PM, with no weekends.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on chairside dental assisting experience.
• Active Dental Assistant (DA) certification.
• Active Arizona Dental Radiologic Proficiency / X-Ray Certificate.
• Familiarity with modern dental technology, digital imaging, and practice management software.
• Strong emotional intelligence and reliability, a passion for patient-focused care, and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide four-handed chairside assistance during general, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical dental procedures.
• Capture digital radiographs and intraoral photographs, and maintain accurate clinical notes in practice software.
• Welcome patients, review health histories, explain treatment steps, and provide empathetic chairside care.
• Prepare, break down, sanitize, and restock operatories between appointments in accordance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
• Process instruments and maintain sterilization equipment.
• Work proactively with hygienists, front-office staff, and doctors to support the team.
