About The Position
Mosaic Health Utica is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide quality dental care services for a diverse patient population at our new dental facility.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years’ prior experience working as a chair side or float Dental Assistant required
- Completion of a dental assisting program with experience in four handed dentistry
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Current New York State License to practice as a Certified Dental Assistant
- Prior experience as a chair side or float Dental Assistant
Responsibilities
- Conducting pre visit planning
- Providing compassionate patient comfort from greeting to exit
- Preparing patients for dental examination
- Explaining proposed treatment
- Performing chair side or float duties as assigned
- Sterilizing/disinfecting of patient rooms
