Dental Assistant- Part time- West Florida
About The Position
Enable Dental is a mobile dental practice that brings care to patients in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing homes, and other settings across Florida. The Dental Assistant serves patients throughout the greater West Florida area, including Fort Myers and Cape Coral, and leads the clinical side of a small, close-knit mobile team. The role has hands-on involvement in delivering care and direct input into how the team operates. The position is part-time, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule during daytime hours. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience, with incentive pay tied to team growth and equity.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of dental assistant experience.
- Active state-level Dental Assistant certification.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- Comfort working in patients’ homes and care facilities rather than a fixed office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist chairside during procedures.
- Take radiographs and manage supplies and sterilization.
- Educate patients and their families on care and next steps.
- Mentor other assistants and keep the day running on schedule.
