About The Position

The Dental Assistant supports doctors by communicating treatment needs clearly and calmly to parents and patients using the prescribed treatment plan. The role involves recognizing prior authorization requirements, ensuring consent forms are signed, and maintaining patient comfort and safety. The Dental Assistant documents treatment using electronic and paper dental records and forms, performs general housekeeping, and restocks supplies as needed. The position is expected to provide superior support to doctors and demonstrate respect and care toward customers and office personnel.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant.
• CPR certification is required.
• Training from an accredited dental assistant school.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to work independently and anticipate the needs of the team and doctor.
• Respectful, kind, and considerate toward team members, patients, and the doctor.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of dental assisting experience is preferred.
