About The Position
Greenville Kids Dental, part of Kids Dental Brands, is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Dental Assistant to support pediatric dental care. The role works closely with children and families, supports clinical procedures, and helps create a positive, welcoming experience. Through compassion, encouragement, and relationship-building, the Dental Assistant helps patients feel safe, confident, and comfortable before, during, and after treatment. The practice describes its office as a modern, kid-focused facility using current technology and a compassionate care approach. The position offers a predictable daytime schedule, no nights, and often shortened Friday schedules. The organization also highlights professional growth, training, and support as it grows.
Requirements
- DA Certificate (CDA, DA I, or DA II).
- North Carolina Radiation Certification or DANB Radiation Certification.
Responsibilities
- Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
- Review medical histories, take blood pressure and pulse, and update records.
- Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment.
- Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
