About The Position

Dental Dreams is hiring Dental Assistants for its Battle Creek, Michigan office. The role supports the dentist during examinations and treatment and combines patient care with administrative tasks. The team welcomes experienced assistants, people currently enrolled in or recently graduated from dental programs, and applicants without dental experience who are willing to learn. Dental Dreams provides training to help new dental assistants become radiology certified. The ideal candidate is caring, organized, attentive to detail, customer-focused, and able to work well with a team. Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.

Strong organization and attention to detail.
Radiology license preferred.

Previous healthcare experience.
Previous dental experience, through work or education.
Radiology license.

Responsibilities

Work under the general supervision and guidance of a dentist.
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental examinations and treatment.
Chart during dental examinations.
Take and process X-rays.
Sterilize and maintain instruments and the sterilization area.
Set up and break down operatories.
Assist with supply inventory and ordering.
Maintain a clean and professional office environment.
Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans.
Maintain a high level of customer service.
Work as part of a team, emphasizing communication.
