About The Position

Woodland Park Dental Group is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant or EDDA to join its established general dentistry practice full-time. The practice has a loyal patient base and offers a four-day work week. The role involves welcoming patients, reviewing and updating health histories, preparing operatories, sterilizing instruments, assisting chairside with four-handed dentistry, performing expanded dental-assisting tasks, and supporting supply ordering and stocking. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour, with monthly performance-based bonus opportunities. Applications are accepted until November 30, 2026, or until the right candidate is found.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in general dentistry.
X-ray certification required.
Active CPR/BLS certification required.
Fast-paced, self-motivated, reliable, and outgoing; interested in staying long-term and learning and growing within a team.

Nice To Haves

Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Genuinely welcome patients into the practice.
Thoroughly review and update patients’ health histories.
Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies for each operatory as needed.
Sterilize instruments according to OSHA regulations.
Assist the dentist chairside with four-handed dentistry.
Place fillings, fabricate temporary crowns, pack cord, and seat temporary crowns.
Assist with ordering and stocking supplies.
