About The Position

The Smile Lodge is seeking a Dental Anesthesiologist to join their growing sedation team. The role involves working alongside pediatric and general dentists, supported by a clinical team, in a high-efficiency environment focused on safe sedation, smooth patient flow, and patient comfort. This position can be either part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• DDS/DMD with completion of a CODA-accredited Dental Anesthesiology residency
• Active or eligible New York State dental anesthesia license
• Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and clear communication

Nice To Haves

• Preference given to Dental Anesthesiologists
• Pediatric anesthesia/sedation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care to patients aged 3 years and up.
• Work alongside pediatric and general dentists.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, LPNs, and pre-op clinical technicians.
• Ensure safe sedation, smooth patient flow, and patient comfort.
• Adhere to extensive and well-documented sedation protocols.
• Manage ASA I & II patients (ASA III requires clearance).
